So many salons and “Laser” clinics you could choose from... Which one is the question? In which place could I pay less and get better results?

The most often asked question are:

Q1: What is the difference between your laser services in Forever Beauty and the others?

First is that in our salon you will get treatment on real laser. Sounds strange - doesn’t it? But some salons advertise themselves to be a Laser Hair Removal Clinic… but they do not have laser - they have IPL (Intense Pulse Light) machine. It used to be the name for these machines LHE (Light Heat Energy). Now they use name IPL. Some salons name it even Intelligent Pulse Light. To see the difference between lasers and IPL it's better to go to the science. 

Let’s educate you just a little bit. See these graphs below which explain everything:

As you see the human body can absorb light in the Blood (Oxihemoglobine), Water and Melanin - which determines the color of our hairs and what is the most important by color of our skin.

The first laser that came to the market was Ruby laser. Why it was build? This color of light absorbs by melanin of hairs is very good. BUT. It’s very good absorption by melanin in the skin is very good as well. So these laser are suitable only for White skin and Black Hairs. That’s why these lasers are out of the market today for Hair removal.

Next came to the market Alexandrite laser (You should hear names some of them like GentleLase…) All Alexandrite lasers are not a much different from Ruby Lasers - absorption by melanin too fast - which does not allow the light to go deep enough to go to the hair roots.

Later on came Diode laser which have wavelength around 800 nm, which is better than Ruby or Alexandrite but still has fast absorption by melanin.

Latest generation is Nd: YAG Lasers. If you look at the first graph above you could see Nd: YAG Lasers have the slowest absorption by melanin which gives patients the safest treatment in comparison with any others Lasers and IPL and not only that... 

As a result – better penetration under the skin. Some Hair follicles have depth 5-7mm like Bikini or Underarm areas.

Slower absorption of light produced by Nd:YAG laser gives the best results on any skin types - from white to absolutely black:

- Fewer treatments required in comparison with any others    Laser and IPL

- Suitable for ANY skin type and tanned skin   

- Less painful

- More safe!

Q2: What is the difference between Laser and IPL machine?

Laser generates only one wavelength. IPL Systems produce very broad spectrum of light which cause absorption in the skin very fast. That's why on IPL machine used 2-3 times less energy could be applied in comparison with lasers. That's why MORE treatments required on IPL than on any Laser and especially on Nd:YAG with big spot size like 12, 15,18 mm.

Ask yourself: Why salons and clinics who are using IPL machine call this service: Laser Hair Removal not Photoepilation- which is correct name for it?

Q3: O.K. Forever Beauty Inc. has Nd:YAG Laser but I know some other places with Nd:YAG. What is the difference between your place and the others?

POWER. Strange? Not at all. Power gives the biggest spot size of laser beam, which gives better result! (More deep penetration under the skin).

And what?

- The light from the laser beam penetrates the skin deeper. It gives light possibility to go under the skin to 5-7mm to rich the deepest hair follicles.

- It allows customers to get results with fewer treatments. For an example on Diode laser blond people will require 15-20 treatments or they will refuse to do it at all. On our Nd:YAG laser you could achieve results about 8 treatments…

Q3. I told about good results on IPL machines. Are they lying?

No. It’s possible. BUT. Not for everybody. Only for white skin and black hairs.

But even for these people it would require much more treatments than on our laser. Any other combinations will not give you good results.

It’s very common for people who have undergone treatment on IPL or laser with small spot size like 5-10mm to have hair regrowth after a half year. The hair will grow back without color and very thin. In this case only electrolysis is suitable for these people. Would you like to try???
